GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following order: The present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction, declaring the action of the respondents in withholding the payment of 1st and part bill an amount of Gross Rs.13,57,427/- in Net amount of Rs.12,80,214/- (CFMS No.2024-166698) even after finalizing the bills, payable to the petitioner in relation to the work i.e., “APILIP-II-Construction of protection walls to Right main canal to fee from Bahuda Project to Ganuga Cheruvu near Mustoor (V) in Nimmanapalle Mandal in Chittoor District” vide Agreement No.03/DN/2022-23, dt.04.05.2022 is questioned, as the same is illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to consider for payment of Gross Rs.13,57,427/- in Net amount of Rs.12,80,214/- (CFMS No.2024-166698) with interest @ 12% per annum for the delayed amount to the petitioner in respect of execution of above mentioned work forthwith and pass such other or further 2 orders as the Hon’ble Court feels deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed a letter, dated 08.04.2025 of the 4th respondent wherein it is stated that the bill for a sum of Rs.13,57,427/- relating to this writ petition was cleared on 30.03.2025. 3. In view of the same, nothing survives further in this matter and, hence, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
