Hon’ble Mr. Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice Hon’ble Mr. Bibhu Datta Guru, Judge Order on Board Per Ramesh Sinha, Chief Justice 02/09/2025 1 Heard Mr. Danish Ahmed Siddiqui, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mr. Shailendra Sharma, learned Panel Lawyer for the State/respondent No. 1. 2 By this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, the Cr.P.C.), the petitioners seek to challenge the FIR bearing Crime No. 35/2019 dated 13.02.2019, registered at Police Station, Newai, District Durg, lodged by the respondent No. 2 for the offences under Sections 498-A, 506, 34, of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3 At the outset, Mr. Siddiqui, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to take recourse to law, on the ground that after registration of the FIR, 3 investigation has been concluded and charge sheet has been filed by the police before the competent Court. 4 Learned counsel for the other side has no objection. 5 In view of the above submission, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to take recourse to law, before the appropriate forum, if so advised. 6 A copy of this order be sent to the trial Court concerned forthwith for information and necessary action, if any.
