The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lawful tenant of the premises and had no knowledge of the purported stock of illicit distilled liquor bottles allegedly seized from the premises. It is further submitted that, as on 10.05.2024 when the when Flying Squad Team 5 conducted the raid on the rented premises occupied by the petitioner. 4. In light of the foregoing submissions, the Station House Officer Special Enforcement Bureau Station, Pittapuram, Kakinada District, is directed to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.262 of 2024 without taking coercive steps against the petitioner. This order would not preclude the investigation officer 3 CRLP. No.4558 of 2025 from filing charge sheet or final report upon completion of the investigation. 5. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of. 6. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
