Without commenting on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and pass an appropriate reasoned
order, on the application dated 24.02.2025 (Annexure P-19) of the petitioner, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of copy/ production of this order. It goes without saying that the authorities concerned will take all necessary steps to conduct election to the post of Sarpanch at the earliest, preferably, within a period of 02 months after disposal of application (Annexure P-19), as aforesaid.
