(Oral) It is the case of the petitioners the Nagar Palika Parishad, Nainital in its Resolution dated 08.10.2020 has resolved under Resolution No.7 that vendors licenses may also be issued to other persons, whose livelihood were through street vending. Under that resolution the petitioners seek license. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were street vendors; their shops were removed from their place where they were sitting; the respondent no.4 had in its meeting dated 08.10.2020 resolved to issue of Vendors Licenses to all such persons, whose livelihood is by street vending. But, yet the petitioners have not been given such licenses. 2 4. Learned counsel for the respondent no.4 would submit that the vendor licenses are issued to such persons, who had early been issued licenses. He would submit that if the petitioners give representations, their cases may be considered if it falls within the parameters. 5. The petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent no.4 that if such representation(s) is made by the petitioners, the same shall be decided within a period of four weeks by the respondent no.4, in accordance with the law/guidelines.
