ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed forbearing the respondents herein from preventing the members of the petitioners club playing the game of Rummy along with carom Board, Table Tennis, Chess, Gym, Billiards and Library at No.187/2A Poosaripatti, Pollachi, Coimbatore District.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents has submitted that so far there is no complaint received against the club. As long as the petitioner runs the club in lawful manner, the respondents will not interfere with the club. If the petitioner conducts any betting or games involving chances in the club, the respondents shall take action against the petitioner's club.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Court passes the following order:
“The petitioner club is permitted to play rummy etc. games and the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.No.11876 of 2025 respondents shall not interfere with the affairs of the club. If the petitioner conducts any illegal games, the respondents can very well interfere and take action against the petitioner's club, in accordance with law.”
5. In the light of the above discussions, this Writ Petition petition is
