Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 61/2024 arising out of Lohardaga P.S. Case No. 14 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 436/34 of the Indian Penal Code, subsequently charge has been framed under Section 436 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of Sri Rajkamal Mishra learned Sessions Judge, Lohardaga.
3. The bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court in B.A. No. 2907/2024 vide order dated 03.05.2024.
4. On 19.01.2024, some unknown miscreants set ablaze the motorcycle garage of the informant, due to which nine motorcycles were burnt.
5. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has surfaced during investigation. He was identified on the basis of identification on CCTV footage installed at the place of occurrence. It was further submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year. It was finally submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
6. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Rajkamal Mishra learned Sessions Judge, Lohardaga or his successor in connection with S.T. Case No. 61/2024 arising out of Lohardaga P.S. Case No. 14 of 2024.
