1. Prayer in the instant civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 04.04.2025 (Annexure P-9), passed by respondent No. 2 (District Development and Panchayat Officer, Sri Muktsar Sahib).
2. After arguing for some time, learned senior counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail his alternate remedy of revision petition under Section 201 of Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (in short '1994 Act'), however, he submits that time bound directions be issued to decide the same.
3. In view of above, the instant civil writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. In case any such revision petition under Section 201 of 1994 Act is filed by the petitioner within a period of one week from today, the same shall considered and finally decided by the concerned officer within a period of two weeks thereafter.
4. Pending application (s), if any, shall also stand closed.
