Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in continuous possession of the subject land, admeasuring to an extent of Ac. 1.10 cents in Sy. No. 198, situated at Gudarevulapalle Village, Pileru Mandal, Annamayya District, for the past 35 years. In view of such long-standing possession, the petitioner submitted a representation to the 4^*^ respondent seeking issuance of a D-form patta. The 4th respondent, aTfef conducting a detailed enquiry, recommended the assignment of the said land. However, the respondent authorities neither issued the D-form patta nor issued any other proceedings. Hence, the present writ petition. 4. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that if the petitioner submits a fresh representation before the concerned authorities, the respondent authorities will consider the representation and appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a reasonable time. pass Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, and upon perusal of the material placed on record, this Court is of the considered opinion that the present Writ Petition can be disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation for issuance of D-form patta in respect of the subject land to the concerned authorities within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such submission, the respondent authorities shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, after conducting a detailed enquiry and following due process of law, considering the claim of the petitioner, within a period of six (06) months. 5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 6. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. Sd/- SHAIK WIOHD.
