By the present writ petition, the petitioner has moved an application before the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) for change of ownership of the vehicle bearing registration No.CG-04- E-3348 vide Annexure P-2 dated 25/10/2023, however, the RTO is not taking steps for change of ownership as requested by the petitioner vide Annexure P-2 to the RTO. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier a writ petition i.e. WPC No.6123/2024, where the RTA was a party and the petitioner’s prayer for change of ownership along with the transfer of permanent State Carriage Permit was also there, however, the RTO was not a party. Hence, the respondents are not proceeding in the application moved by the petitioner for change of ownership on 25/10/2023 saying in the earlier writ petition i.e. WPC No.6123/2024, the RTO was not a party. 3. Learned counsel for the State/respondent would submit that if the application for change of ownership dated 25/10/2023 is still pending before the authority i.e. the RTO, the same will be considered in accordance with law within a period of thirty days from today. 4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties. 5. In view of submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent/State, the writ peition is dispose of with a direction to the RTO to consider the application dated 25/10/2023 Annexure P-2 for change of ownership of vehicle bearing registration No.CG-04-E-3348 within a period of thirty days from today. 6.
