Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to forthwith carry out the demarcation of petitioner’s land i.e. comprised in Khatauni number 524, Khasra Number1968, 1972/1, 1981/2 total area 1.231 hectare situated in village Arkedia Grant Badowala, Dehradun.” 3. Learned State Counsel was given time to get instructions. Today, on instructions, he submits that because of pendency of Writ Petition (M/S) No. 1846 of 2015, filed by petitioner, it is not possible to demarcate his land. 4. He submits that in that writ petition, petitioner has challenged an order passed by Board of Revenue in mutation proceedings and there is stay operating in favour of petitioner. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of with request to the Competent Authority to make endeavour to take decision on petitioner’s application for demarcation within nine months, after the decision in Writ Petition (M/S) No. 1846 of 2015.
