The petitioner, by filing the present writ petition, has sought the following reliefs:- “a) Issue an appropriate writ to be quashed and set aside the impugned order dated 27.5.2025 (Annexure-12) passed by SDO Alwar and upheld the Kurejat report dated 1.4.2025 prepared by Tehsildar in case no.1/147. b) Issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction to SDO Alwar to decide the case titled (Kundan V/s Mahasingh & Others) within a period of Six Months. c) Issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction, giving any other relief in the interest of justice, which this Hon’ble Court considers fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. d) Cost of the Writ Petition be awarded” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that prayer (a) does not survive anymore as a fresh Kurejat Report dated 11.11.2025 has been prepared by Tehsildar. 3. Learned counsel, however, submits that the petitioner is an 85 years old man suffering from several diseases. He further submits that the preliminary decree was passed on 06.04.2018 and a period of almost seven & a half years has lapsed since then and the matter is still pending for consideration. He, therefore, makes a limited prayer that the Sub – Divisional Officer, Distt. Alwar be directed to decide the case in an expeditious manner. 3. Mr. Vidyadhar Ghathala, learned AGC appears on behalf of the State respondents has no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Sub – Divisional Officer, Distt. Alwar is directed to decide the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 6.
