JUSTICE KALYAN RAI SURANA ORDER Date : 11.04.2025 Heard Mr. C. Modi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Y. Riram, learned Government Advocate appearing for the State respondents. In brief, the case of the petitioner is that the petitioner’s Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society had participated in the tender process dated 06.01.2025 for NFSA PDS Rice Land Route Carriage Contractor, which was issued on 17.04.2024. It is stated that the said tender process was opened on 06.01.2025. However, the tender has not been finalized till date. As an interim measure, by an ad hoc appointment, some carriage contractors are allowed to transport PDS rice. Accordingly, the petitioner’s representation, submitted on 24.03.2025, which is also not attended to. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The learned Government has submitted that he has received from the instructions that the Deputy Commissioner, Pasighat (respondent No. 2) has informed that the said tender will be finalized within a month. Upon the said submissions, the Court is of the considered opinion that, it will be an appropriate to close the writ petition by directing the Deputy Commissioner, Pasighat (respondent No. 2), to consider and dispose of the representation dated 24.03.2025, within a period of 1(one) month from the date Page No.# 3/3 of receipt of the certified copy of this order, along with a true copy of the writ petition.
