Mr. Akash K. Chhaya, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner has, in fact, been paid an amount of Rs.3,88,398/- and he places on record a photocopy of the demand draft made out in favour of the petitioner. In my view, since the petitioner has been paid the earned leave encashment vide a demand draft dated 24.03.2017, the prayers made in the writ petition would not survive for consideration.
