The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the petition and the memorandum of grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Sri L SRAVANTHI NIDADAVOLE, Advocate for the petitI-Oner and of PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for Respondent, the court made the following ORDER Ei Eii {,,- .\\ THE HONOURABLE §RI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY _CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 640 of 2O_2± ORDER: The Cr®lminal Petit'lon, u/See.482 of the Bharatiya Nagar'lk Suraksha sanhita, 2023, is filed on behalf of the petit-loner/Al to grant anticiPatOry bail in connection with crime No.228/2024 of Special Enforcement Bureau Station, Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari District. 2) A case has been registered against the Petitioner and another for the offence punishable u/sec.7-B r/w 8-B of the A.P.Prohibition (Amendment) Act. 3) Case of the prosecution in brief iS that On 24.3.2024 at about 7.00 pm, on receipt of credible information about illegal possession and transportation of l'lquor, the station House Officer, Special Enforcement Bureau Station, Rajamahendravaram, along With Staff, rushed tO road margin, opposite G-7 flat, 64th Vambay House in Veerabhadranagar Of Rajamahendravaram Urban and found A2. On seeing police, A2 tried tO escape. But pol'lce apprehended him and On interrogation, he disclosed his identity particulars and confessed that he works aS a daily labour for Rs.500/- per day under the petitioner herein and iS Selling [D liquor On behalf of the petitioner herein. A2 was arrested and got remanded tO judicial custody. 4) Heard. Perused the, record. 5) Basing on the confessional statement ofA2, name of the petitioner has been shown as an accused in the said case. Pursuant to the confessional statement, nothing has been seized from the possession of the petitioner herein. ln view of the same, this Court is inclined to consider the prayer of petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail. 6) Accordingly, in the event of arrest of petitioner/Al with regard to this crime, he shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum to the satisfaction of the arresting police officials and also on condition that the petitioner shall make himself available for investigation as and when required and that he shall not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the prosecution witnesses. Petitioner shall appear before the Station House OfflICer concerned once in a week i.e. on every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m., till filing of the charge-sheet. 7) Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
