The present appeal under Section 14-(A) (2) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 is filed in connection with Crime No. 233/2024 registered at Police Station Jaijaipur, District Janjgir-Champa (C.G.) for an offence punishable under Sections 191(2), 221, 121(1), 296, 351(2), 115(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 & Section 3(1)(द) (ध), 3(2) (v क) of the Scheduled Castes & the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Case of the prosecution is that the appellants along with other co-accused persons assaulted Head Constable namely Shankar Singh Raj and used filthy words relating to caste and thereby committed offences as mentioned in FIR dated 29.10.2024. 3. Learned counsel for the appellants submits that appellants have preferred bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 (Anticipatory Bail) for their release on bail before the learned Special Judge (Atrocities) District Janjgir-Champa, which has been rejected vide order dated 07th November, 2024. After that appellants have filed this Criminal Appeal 2100/2024 against the order passed by the trial Court. During pendency of this appeal, the appellants Golu @ Digamber Kumar Chandra and Monu Chandra have been arrested by the Police on 04/12/2024 and produced before the Special Judge (Atrocities) and Special Judge (Atrocities) has been enlarged on bail under Section 483 of BNSS, therefore this appeal has dismissed as having become infructuous.
