The petition coming on for'h`earing, upon perusing the petition and the grounds filed in support there:~6f- and upon hearing the arguments of sri N.V.Mohana Rao,ofvocate for the Petitioner and of Public Prosecutor for the Respondent, the Court made the following _I THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.642 OF 2025 ORDER:- This Criminal Petition, under sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/Al and A2, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.26 of 2024 of Donkarai Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju District, registered for the offence punishable under section 20(b)(ii)(B) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985. 2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 27.ll.2024, on receiving credible information, the Sub-Inspector of police, along with his staff and mediators, rushed to opposite side of Donkarai Police Station, and found the accused in possession of 2 Kgs of Ganja. The contrab'and, along with other material, was seized under cover of a mediators report. The accused Nos.1 and 2 were arrested and got remanded to judicial custody. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4. The petitioners are in judicial custody since 27.ll.2024- The quantity of contraband allegedly seized from the possession of _3----=E 2 + the accused is 2 Kgs of ganja, which is not a commercial quantity. Learned Assistant public Prosecutor submitted that major portion Of investigation has been completed. 5. ln viewofthe aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners/Al and A2 on the following conditions. I-) The petitioners/Al and A2 shall be released on baI'I on their executing personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First class, Rampachodavaram. ii) On release, the petitioners shall appear before the station House Officer concerned, once lan a week i.e., on every sunday between 10.00 am and 01.00 pm, till filing of the charge sheet. 6.
