The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the SLAO – the respondent to release the compensation amount of Rs.6,14,795/- to the petitioners as per the representation dated:20.12.2024 vide Annexure-H. 3. One Siddappa S/o. Beerappa was the owner of the property bearing Sy.No.389/5 measuring 3 acres 07 guntas situated at Yelburga Taluk, Koppal District. The property of 20 guntas was acquired for the formation of NH-367. The - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:6392 WP No. 102093 of 2025 compensation was awarded in a sum of Rs.6,14,795/-. The petitioners contend that they are children of Siddappa. Hence, they submitted a representation on 20.12.2024 for the release of the amount vide Annexure-H. The grievance of the petitioners is that the representation has not been considered as of today and the amount is not released. Hence, they are before this Court. 3. Heard the arguments and perused the writ papers with care. 4. Counsel for the petitioner submits that a mandamus may be ordered directing the SLAO – the respondent to release the compensation amount of Rs.6,14,795/- to the petitioners as per the representation dated:20.12.2024. HCGP submits that an appropriate order may be passed. 5. A Mandamus is ordered directing the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners vide Annexure-H and act in accordance with the law for the release of the compensation amount within six weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:6392 WP No. 102093 of 2025 6.
