Though the 5'^ respondent college notified the vacancy in newspapers and conducted interviews for the post of Lecturer in Zoology, the Committee constituted for the purpose did not select any candidate for different reasons, respondent reviewed the matter and noticed that the candidates appeared before the Selection Committee for interview do not possess requisite qualification of NET/SLET/Ph.D and they only possessed the qualification of PG only. After reviewing the matter, the respondent authorities came to the conclusion to direct the Management of the College to nd Thereafter, the 2 notify the vacancy afresh. In view of the above discussion, the petitioner is not eligible for appointment to the post of Lecturer in Degree Colleges. The writ petition is devoid of merits, as the petitioner does not have the requisite qualification. Accordingly, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 6. 4 7. In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. Sd/- A.
