Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that a requisition has been sent to the Branch Manager, ICICI Bank, Gandhi Road, Proddutur, requesting to freeze the transactions of the account belonging to 1st petitioner, as he is involved as an accused in Crime No. 647 of 2024. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that liberty may be given to the petitioners to pursue their remedies before the concerned Magistrate Court. 5. Considering the submissions made, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the concerned Magistrate Court and file an appropriate application. Upon filing such application, the learned Magistrate shall take an appropriate decision in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to interfere in this issue, as the crime has already been registered and is under investigation. The police shall not call the petitioners or exert any pressure on them for payment of the amount. There shall be no order as to costs.
