The prosecution has filed I.A. No.3 of 2025 in Crl.P.No.4516 of 2025, whereby it is brought to the notice of the Court that the provision of law in Crime No.20 of 2025 of Amadagaru Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District, has been altered from Section 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 to Section 118(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, by virtue of an alteration memo dated 19.04.2025. 2. It is submitted that there are three different wound certificates. However, when the above criminal petition was disposed of, only one wound certificate, indicating simple injuries, was placed before the Court. It is further submitted that there are two other wound certificates pertaining to two other victims and the injuries recorded therein are of a grievous nature. The earlier disposal of the criminal petition was, therefore, based solely on the wound certificate reflecting only simple injury. 3. The learned counsel for respondents No.2 to 4 in I.A. No.3 of 2025 submits that, considering the civil disputes between the respondents, this Court had disposed of the criminal petition with a direction to the station House Officer to compJete the investigation without taking coercive steps. 4. Be that as it may, the provision of Jaw stands altered by virtue of alteration memo dated 19.04.2025. Hence, the Station House Officer shall complete the investigation and file a charge sheet/final report in accordance with the altered provision of law. 5. Accordingly, the I.A. is disposed of.
