ORDER:
1. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner arraigned as A.1 in Crime No. 14 of 2025 of Kanaganapalli Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District for the alleged offences under Section 109(1) read with Section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner physically assaulted by the 2'^'^ respondent, resulting in grievous injuries to his leg, and that the petitioner was admitted in the hospital for the injuries sustained by him in the hands of the 2"*^ respondent. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner remains under the supervision of doctor due to the injuries sustained in the said attack.
4. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor had previously sought time till 17.04.2025 to verify and submit a report regarding the injuries sustained by the petitioner.
5. It has now been informed to this Court that the injuries sustained by the petitioner are of a simple in nature. Considering the submissions, the Station House Officer, Kanaganapalli Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai was was
1" CRLP. No.4136 OF 2025 ^ District, is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No. 14 of 2025 without resorting to any coercive measures against the petitioner. However, this order would not preclude the Investigating Officer from filing a final report or charge sheet upon completion of the investigation.
6. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of.
7. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal ^e^tion shall stand Sd/- P. VINOD KUMAR ASSISTANT REGISTRY closed.
