312 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-22225-2025 DECIDED ON: 09.07.2025 NAVEEEN VERMA AND OTHERS .....PETITIONERS VERSUS STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER
.....RESPONDENTS CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP MOUDGIL Present: None for the petitioners. Mr. Sandeep Singh, AAG Punjab.
SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) By virtue of present petition, the petitioner has sought the quashing of FIR No. 73, dated 12.04.2023, under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B IPC (Sections 318(4), 3/6(2) of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Mandi Gobindgarh, Fatehgarh Sahib. A perusal of report dated 10.06.2025 received from learned Sub- Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Amloh, it is evident that none of the parties appeared before the Court concerned for recording of their statement qua compromise, in compliance of order dated 16.05.2025. Moreover, today, neither the counsel for the petitioners nor counsel for respondent No.2 has put in appearance. In the light of above-said circumstances, this Court is convinced that parties are not interested in pursuing the matter. Hence, the same is dismissed for non-prosecution. Ordered accordingly.
