In compliance to the order of even date, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a receipt dated 24.08.2026, regarding the deposit of ₹13,875/-, which is 7.5% of the cheque amount of ₹1,70,000/-, issued by the Member Secretary, H.P. Legal Services Authority, Kasumpti, Shimla, District Shimla, H.P.

Learned counsel for the respondent No.2, under instructions, submits that the complainant/respondent does not want to proceed further with the complaint in view of the compromise effected between the parties.

In view of above, present revision petition is allowed and the judgment passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Una, District Una, H.P. in Criminal Appeal bearing CIS No. 57 of 2024, dated 31.12.2024 (learned Appellate Court) affirming the
judgment of conviction dated 24.12.2022 and order of sentence dated 28.12.2022 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Court No.III, Amb, District Una, H.P. in Complaint Case registration No. 63 of 2016 are ordered to be set aside and the complaint is dismissed as not pressed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no amount has been deposited before the learned Courts below and before this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the accused/petitioner is lodged in Bangarh Jail, Una, District Una, H.P. The petitioner is ordered to be released forthwith, if not required in any other case.

Release warrants be prepared accordingly and the same be sent to the Jail Superintendent, Bangarh, Jail, Una, District Una, H.P.and learned Trial Court through FASTER forthwith for necessary compliance.

In view of the above, the present petition stands
disposed of, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any
