Tamphamani, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also present Mr. HS. Paonam, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. N. Bipin, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 2 & 3 and Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned G.A. for the State respondent. [2] In this batch of writ petitions, the petitioners herein challenged the cancellation of their licenses with respect to parking fee collection within commercial market of Lilong (Thoubal) Municipal Council and market vendor fee, toilet fee collection, etc. [3] During the pendency of the writ petitions, the impugned orders under challenged in this batch of writ petitions have been cancelled by a fresh subsequent order dated 24.02.2025 issued by the Caretaker Chairperson, Lilong (Thoubal) Municipal council. [4] In the circumstances, the cause of the writ petitions does not survive as the impugned orders have already been cancelled by this subsequent order. [5] Learned counsel for the parties submit that writ petitions may be disposed of as infructuous. [6] Recording the submissions made at the bar, writ petitions are closed as infructuous. Interim order, if any, vacated. Misc. applications stand closed.
