The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 4.3.2025 passed by this Court in Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 1778 of 2025. In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, the Standing Counsel has filed the affidavit of the opposite party disclosing in the paragraph No. 8 of the affidavit that the inquiry as directed in the order dated 4.3.2025 has been completed and the record has been submitted to the State Government for appropriate action against erring officers. As the order passed by the writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed. The contempt application is disposed of. Notices are discharged.
