A case has been registered against the Petitioner and Others for the offences punishable under Sect'lons 324, 506 read with 34 lPC. 3. Case of the Prosecution in brief iS thatOn 13.5.2024 atabout 1.30 pm, -ln view of general elections, the defacto complainant, being follower of Telugu Desam Party, along With Keshav Reddy and others was at the p.w.D. Colony POlling booth, Al along with few Others approached the polling booth, threatened the defaCtO COmPlainant and further Al and few others attacked the defacto complainant and caused bleeding injures, and upon the cries raised by the defacto complainant, he was shifted to hospital. Hence the F,I.R. 4- Heard. PeruSedthereCOrd. 5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that investigation iS at crucial stage and some more witnesses are to be examined. f¥-I I--g. I 2 + 6. A perusal of the material available on record goes to show that bas,'ng on the report lodged by the defacto complalnant, the case has been registered on 13.5.2024 where,'n Al to A6 were shown as accused. subsequently, basing on the confessional statement of co- accused, name of the petl'tioner has been shown as an accused jn the present crime, on o9.01.2025. There ls no explanatl'on as to why so much delay has caused ln addlng the name of the petl'tioner jn the present crime. After lapse of eI-ght months, name of the petI'tjOner has been shown as an accused ln the present crlme. Learned counsel for the petl'tI'Oner submlts that some accused were enlarged on regular ba" and some other accused were granted antI-CIPatOry ball. In vl'ew of the facts and cI'rCumstances of the case, thl|s court IS InCllned to consider the prayer of the petl-tjoner/A18 for grant of antl'cl-patory bal'l. 7.
