ORDER: The present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities in not releasing the admitted amount to the petitioner for the execution of works in related to Agreement No.68/2023-24 dated 04.03.2024 Vide CFMS Bill Token No. 2024- 1532207, respectively as arbitrary, illegal, contrary to Law and against the Principles of Natural Justice and against the Norms of the Public Policy and to issue conseguential direction directing the respondent authorities to release the amounts payable to the petitioner with an interest at 18 % annum and to pass and pass such order or orders ” Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Finance, on oral instructions stated that the CFMS Bill Token No.2024-1532207, was processed for payment and they will be cleared on priority basis. /
3. Recording the aforesaid submission, the Writ Petition is
disposed of directing the respondents to clear the bills and release the amounts, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, with interest at 12% p.a. The interest shall be computed from the date of expiry of one month from the date of submission of the bills by the petitioners till the date of payment. There shall be no order as to costs.
