Dev Raj Vs. Nipun Jindal COPC No. 680/2025 10.08.2026 Present: Mr. Ashok Kumar, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Rahul Thakur, Advocate, for the respondent. CMP No. 18737/2026 Learned counsel for the respondent has placed on record an office letter dated 29.07.2026 and, on that basis, submits that all benefits due and admissible to the petitioner, along with the applicable rate of interest, have now been released in his favour. Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledges the above fact, but raises one grievance that, qua the delayed payment of leave encashment, the respondent has paid interest @ 7.1%, however, the respondent is required to pay interest @ 9% in terms of the judgment. Learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation does not dispute the above fact, but submits that the requisite amount towards the shortfall in the interest amount shall be paid within two weeks from today, i.e. on or before 26.08.2026. In view of the above assurance given by learned counsel for the respondent, the application is disposed of. Jyotsna Rewal Dua Judge 10th August, 2026 (Rohit)
