Heard Shri Ashok Kumar Ram, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Manish Trivedi, learned counsel for the respondent no.3 and 4 and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent no.1. 2. Earlier vide this Court's order dated 18.04.2025 notice was issued to respondent no.2, however, as per office report dated 15.05.2025 notice upon the respondent no.2 has been served but no one has put in appearance on his behalf. 3. Present petition has been filed seeking following relief:- "(i)). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the concerned authority i.e. respondents no.2, 3 and 4 to consider the application dated 11.09.2023 and 10.10.2023 of the petitioner (Anneuxre- 5) within stipulated period time fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for redressal of his grievance, petitioner has filed application/representation on 11.09.2023 before respondent No.2-General Manager, ICICI Purdential Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Malad (East), Mumbai but till date no decision has been taken. Lastly, it is submitted that a direction may be issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the aforesaid application/representation within a stipulated time, for which learned counsel for the respondents has no objection. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 2-General Manager, ICICI Purdential Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Malad (East), Mumbai to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 11.09.2023 in accordance with law maximum within period of six weeks from the date of submission of certified copy of this order. Petitioner is directed to annex photocopy of application/representation dated 11.09.2023 alongwith certified copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merits. It is upon respondent No. 2 to pass order after considering the relevant Rules as well as facts of the case.
