Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioners have assailed the order passed by the authorities in terms whereof, the request of the petitioners for compassionate appointment stands rejected. 2. Today, when the case was taken up for consideration, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, has placed on record communication dated 8th April, 2026, relevant para whereof reads as under: “In view of the above, this Dte. is of the view that in the subject CWP, the Hon’ble High Court may be apprised in consultation with DSGI of HP High Court of Shimla that the subject case is being reconsidered by the CB Kasauli in accordance with the instructions issued by the high authorities in the matter with a request to 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 dispose of the subject case in the interest of justice.” 3. In the light of the above communication, the instant writ petition is disposed of by quashing Annexure P-23 and with the observation that the needful qua the reconsideration of the case of the petitioners be done, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of three months from today.
