17. CRI APPLN-510-24.docx Amberkar IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION CRIMINAL APPLICATION NO. 510 OF 2024 Vilas Pandharinath Patil .. Applicant Versus Ashok Harishchandra Patil & Ors. .. Respondents ....................  Mr. Vivek Joshi i/by Mr. Vikas Shivarkar, Advocates for Applicant  Mr. Rajabhau S. Chaudhari i/by Mr. Kishan Chaudhari, Advocates for Respondent Nos. 1 & 4  Mr. Umesh Kurund, Advocate for Respondent Nos. 2, 3, 6 & 8  Ms. Sangeeta E. Phad, APP for Respondent No. 9 - State ................... CORAM : MILIND N. JADHAV, J. DATE : JULY 25, 2025 P. C. : 1. Heard Mr. Joshi, learned Advocate for Applicant; Mr. Chaudhari, learned Advocate for Respondent Nos. 1 & 4; Mr. Kurund, learned Advocate for Respondent Nos. 2, 3, 6 & 8 and Ms. Phad, learned APP for Respondent No. 9 - State. 2. The only ground made out by Applicant in paragraph No. 17 of the present Application for seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail is that the Respondents accused have not co-operated with the Investigation Officer. On perusal of the record and after hearing learned APP, it is seen that investigation is completed and chargesheet has been filed pursuant to completion of investigation long back. Trial is pending. Once this is the position, present Application cannot be 1 of 2 17. CRI APPLN-510-24.docx countenanced merely on the basis of the alleged grounds on merits of the trial which are enumerated in paragraph No. 17 of the Application for cancellation of anticipatory bail granted on 30.07.2014. The grounds seeking cancellation are vague and insufficient and based on apprehensions, without any specifies, notwithstanding the fact that the anticipatory bail was granted as far back as on 30.07.2014. Present Application is filed on 26.11.2024. 3. In the aforesaid circumstances filing of this Application is nothing but a sheer abuse of the process of law. Complete dissatisfaction is expressed by the Court for filing such Application. Application is therefore dismissed. Amberkar [ MILIND N.
