This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the petitioner has primarily prayed for a direction to the respondent Nos. 5 and 6 to decide the application/request application for making character certificate of the petitioner dated 17.02.2025 and also the request sent to the respondent nos. 5 and 6 dated 08.04.2025, expeditiously. In view of the prayer made by the petitioner to decide the application of the petitioner for character certificate, filed on 17.02.2025, we direct the authority concerned to pass a reasoned order on the application within a period of four weeks from date, after affording a proper opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
