ORDER; This Contempt Case is filed for willful and deliberate disobedience the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.11126 of 2023 wherein this Court passed the following order; of on 11.05.2023, ....5. In view of the common order passed by this Court and after
submissions of learned counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release Rs.2,84,698/- and Rs.2,58,99,313/- totaling to an amount of Rs.2,61,84,011/- to the petitioner within hearing the a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner company to agitate its claim for interest, if any payable by the respondents, in an appropriate forum. There shall be no order as to costs....”
2. Today when the writ petition came up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Finance has produced a copy of instructions of the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance (FMU-TR&B) Department Secretariat, Velagapudi, Amaravathi, dated 20.01.2024 wherein it is stated A.P. that the department has uploaded bills for Rs.2,92,67,982/- vide bill numbers 2024-1440265 and 2024-1696908. In compliance to the said orders, the petitioner was paid an amount of Rs.93,64,965/- on 24.10.2024 vide RBI2982484576870 and an amount of Rs.1,82,91,363/- on 02.09.2024 vide RBI2462472670917, totaling an amount of Rs.2,66,56,601/-. The same was also admitted by learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. In view of the same, this Court is of the opinion that the respondents have complied with the orders dated 11.05.2023, passed by this Court in W.P.No. 11126 of 2023.
