The petitioner who claims himself to be a 'social worker' has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing respondent nos.3 and 4 to take necessary action in pursuance to the direction issued by respondent no.2 on 25.11.2024. 2. It appears that the petitioner filed a complaint on I.G.R.S. Portal regarding misappropriation of public money by Mr. Prem Chandra Yadav, the Gram Pradhan. In the said context, respondent no.2 has sought certain information from the Assistant Development Officer, Panchayat so that the complaint could be disposed of. 3. As respondent no.2 has already called for a report from the Assistant Development Officer, Panchayat, therefore, we are not inclined to issue any further direction in the matter. 4. Moreover, under law, a detailed procedure is prescribed for getting the inquiry conducted against the Gram Pradhan for misuse of public money. It is always open to the petitioner to make complaint under the said procedure. 5. The petition stands disposed of subject to the aforesaid observation.
