This common order shall dispose of above-mentioned three petitions filed for grant of anticipatory bail, since the stem from the same FIR No.17 dated 21.02.2025, registered under Sections 333, 115(2), 118(1), Ramandeep Singh 2025.05.13 17:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-19037-2025 (O&M) and connected cases 2 351(2), 351(3), 74, 190, 191(3) of BNS, 2023 (Sections 118(2) and 238 of BNS added later on) at Police Station Sadar Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated on the statement of the complainant, which is a counterblast to an application dated 19.02.2025 submitted by the petitioners against the complainant party. Further, the alleged incident is said to have taken place on 19.02.2025, however it was after a delay of 2 days that the present FIR was got lodged. It is submitted that even the offences under Sections 74 and 118(2) are not made out against the petitioners. 3. Learned State counsel has filed status report dated 08.05.2025 by way of affidavit of Sh. Vipan Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Fatehgarh Churian, Police District Batala. Referring to the said status report, it is submitted that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, PBI, NDPS-cum-Narcotics Batala had joined both the sides in investigation and got recorded their respective statements, on which, it was concluded that the present FIR No.17 dated 21.02.2025 was registered on the false facts. Therefore, cancellation of the said FIR was recommended. The investigation report was also approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI-Baldev Singh, further submits that the cancellation report has been prepared and would be submitted in the trial Court concerned in due course. 4. In view of above submission made, the petitions are disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
