Petitioners before this Court are claiming consideration for their promotion on the post of Head of Department. 3. Learned Senior Advocate for petitioners submits that since a revised notification dated September, 2024 is now adopted and in this regard a public notice is issued on 10.03.2025, therefore, legal impediment, if any, for considering prayer of petitioners is removed and their claim can be considered in the light of said notification. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that since there is a subsequent event, therefore, claim of petitioners will be considered in accordance with law. 5. In aforesaid circumstances, instead of entering into merit of case at this stage, the writ petition is disposed of that claim of petitioners will be considered by concerned respondent taking note of above referred subsequent events within a period of two months, preferably before any fresh advertisement is published for direct recruitment.
