The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Jhansi to decide the application dated 26.02.2024 submitted by the petitioner for grant of gun license. 3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent no.2 states that subject to verification of all facts, the application as made by the petitioner for grant of an arm license shall be duly evaluated and disposed of in accordance with law and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order. 4. Accordingly and without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
