(Oral) 1. The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to the respondents to accept his joint option dated 16.03.2023 (Annexure P-6). 2. The petitioner in terms of judgment of Supreme Court in Employees Provident Fund Organization v. Sunil Kumar B., 2022 SCC OnLine SC 1521 was supposed to file joint option within four months. The said period came to be extended from time to time by the respondent. The last date notified by the respondent to file joint option was 25.01.2025. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner filed joint option on 16.03.2023 and the respondent is not accepting his option. 4. Learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2 submits that Annexure P-6 dated 16.03.2023 is not a joint option, nevertheless, the MOHIT KUMAR 2025.05.08 17:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgement. ` CWP-9836-2025 -2- petitioner may submit documents in support of his averments that he has filed joint option. The moment he files documents besides the aforesaid Annexure, the competent authority would act upon and pass an appropriate order within eight weeks from the date of filing documents. 5.
