Case No. 20/2023 arising out of Gudri P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 307, 506, 120B of the I.P.C. and Section 25(1- B)a, 25(1-A), 26, 27, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act and under Section 10/13 of the U.A.P. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-I, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa. On 11.05.2020, Gudri Police, on the basis of confidential information that extremists had assembled at a place near village Bagu, raided the place of occurrence. On seeing the police party, the extremists had opened fired which resulted in cross-firing. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that nobody was injured in the said occurrence. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is named in the FIR. However, he conceded that the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of the fact that the extremists were calling each other by their name. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.S.J.-I, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa in connection with S.T.
