Needless to state, the Petitioner is at liberty to take the assistance of an elected office bearer of the trade union of which he is a member and which is connected with the Respondent Corporation, save and except, a suspended employee/office bearer or ex-employee/office bearer or any employee subjected to disciplinary proceedings. The Petitioner can always make a request to the Enquiry Officer for a short adjournment, may be of 2 or 3 days after the examination of the witnesses of the Corporation, for preparation of the individual cross- examination.
