The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 19.12.2024 passed by this Court in Writ Tax No. 2385 of 2024. The Standing Counsel has obtained instructions and has handed over a copy of the same to the Court, which is taken on record. On the basis of his instructions, the Standing Counsel states that the amount payable to the petitioner/applicant under the order date 19.12.2024 has been sent to the Treasury and shall be credited in the account of the applicant soon. As the order passed by the writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed. However, it is clarified that in case the amount is not credited in the account of the applicant by 1.5.2025, the applicant shall be entitled to either file a fresh application for contempt or to file a recall application for recall of the present order.
