JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER Date : 26-03-2025 Heard Mr. D. Barman, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. G. Tado, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby, the petitioner, namely, Lijir Josam@ Lijir Romin, who is facing the trial in Sessions Case No.51/2022 pending in the Court of Sessions Page No.# 2/2 Judge, Yupia has prayed for releasing him on bail. 3. In this case, 4(four) persons were shown as prosecution witnesses and all of them have been examined. 4. Mr. T. Ete, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the case is about to be disposed of and if the accused petitioner is released on bail, at this stage, it will cause difficulty in disposal of the case. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both the sides. 6. This Court has reason to agree with the submission of Mr. T. Ete, learned Additional Public Prosecutor. This Court holds that allowing the bail application of the petitioner would cause difficulty in disposal of the case before the trial court. Therefore, the bail application is not considered, at this stage. The same stands rejected and disposed of, accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
