The challenge in this Petition is to an order dated 2nd August 2023 passed by the learned Civil Judge, Senior Division, Jaysingpur, whereby an objection was raised by the petitioner to the admissibility in evidence of the notarized Agreement for Sale. 3. The learned Counsel for the respondent submits that in terms of the order passed by the Court, the insufficiently stamped Agreement for Sale was impounded and, thereafter, the Collector of Stamps has adjudicated the stamp duty and penalty and, accordingly, on 29th June 2024, the requisite stamp duty and penalty has been paid.
