2025:KER:30129 WP(C) NO. 9738 OF 2025 3 Dated this the 28th day of March, 2025 JUDGMENT The writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to allot the tourism projects to the respondents 9 to 12 pursuant to Ext.P2 tender notice. 2. The petitioners’ case is that, they are husband and wife. The 10th respondent is a known gunda. The 10th respondent’s brothers are also involved in several crimes. The 9th respondent had participated in the tender.
It is the known policy of the Government that the persons with criminal antecedents shall not be permitted to participate in the tender. Therefore, the respondents 9 to 12 are disqualified from participating in the tender. Hence, the respondents 1 to 3 may be directed not to permit the respondents 9 to 12 to participate in the tender. 3. By judgment dated 28.03.2025, this Court had dismissed W.P. (C)No.9023/2025, which was filed by one of the Directors of the 9th respondent challenging the tender awarded to M/s New Periyar Water Sports. In light of the above judgment and the award of the tender to the above firm, I am of the view that the writ petition has become infructuous.
