Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order, dated 17.03.2025, in C.R.P. i No.7 of 2020 in Crl.M.P.No.3805 of 2024 in M.C.No.20 of 2003, passed by the VII Additional District & Sessions Judge, Prakasam, Ongole, whereby the order of the learned Magistrate was modified. directing the petitioner to pay maintenance from the date of filing of the petition, i.e.,05.11.2014. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is required to Rs.5,000/- per month to respondents 1 and 2, effective from 05.11.2014, resulting in a total outstanding amount of Rs. 12,50,000/-. The petitioner, being employed as a police constable has failed to discharge his maintenance obligations, having made no payments either from the date of the order or thereafter. 4. In view of the petitioner’s continued non-compliance, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition challenging the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge. 5. Hence, the criminal petition stands dismissed, with a direction that the petitioner shall deposit the outstanding maintenance amountas 3 CRLP. No.4510 of 2025 ordered by the VII Additional District & Sessions Judge, Prakasam, Ongole, within two weeks from the date of this order. 6.
