The petitioner lodged a complaint before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karaikal and sought for a direction under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karaikal, by an order dated 31.01.2024, directed the respondent to conduct an enquiry, if a cognizable office is made out, to register the FIR. However, so far, the respondent has not completed the preliminary enquiry. 4. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to register the FIR forthwith, as per the directions of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karaikal and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law. 5.
