This Court, vide order dated 16.08.2024, passed in MCRC No. 5806 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Ashok Sona, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali, District- KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 Mahasamund, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 03.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, the evidence of 02 prosecution witnesses have already been completed and the evidence of 07 witnesses are yet to be recorded. Despite issuing repeated summons/warrants, the remaining witnesses are not appearing. Due to this, it seems unlikely that the case can be concluded within the stipulated timeframe. Hence, she prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
