Nagi reddy palli Village proposed Respondent No. 7 as Respondents No. 7 in the contempt case no. 1286 of 2025 and show cause notice may be issued to them in the interest of justice. HARI BABU MAGULURI SC For SERP The Court made the following: 3 ::ORDER:: Heard Sri R.Yella Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Hari Babu, learned Standing counsel for respondents. 2. The above contempt case is filed complaining about the violation of the order dated 14.10.2024 in W.P.No.21335 of 2024. 3. Thirty-one individuals filed the aforementioned writ petition complaining of interference by the official respondents in the discharge of their duties as Village Organisation Assistants in their respective organisations. The writ petition was disposed of on 14.10.2024, directing the respondents 6 to 10 not to interfere with the petitioners' discharging their duties as Village Organisation Assistants. 3. Two of the petitioners in the aforementioned writ petition filed the above contempt case, complaining of a violation of the aforementioned order. 4. A counter-affidavit was filed by the 5th respondent. Para-8 of the counter-affidavit, it was specifically contended that the 1st petitioner, while working as Village Organisation Assistant, due to personal reasons, handed over the VO books of accounts to the VO Office Bearers on 03.07.2024. Thereafter, VO EC Members convened a Special VO Meeting on the same day and appointed Smt. P.Sabira as the new Village Organisation Assistant by removing the 1st petitioner. 5. Insofar as the 2nd petitioner is concerned, the members of the organisation conducted a meeting on 03.07.2024 and appointed P.Yamini W/o Janardhan as the new Village Organisation Assistant by removing the 2nd petitioner. The said counter-affidavit was filed on 06.10.2025. 6. The contempt case was listed on 19.09.2025 and was adjourned at the request of learned counsel for the petitioners. No rejoinder has been filed by the petitioners. 4 7. Thus, as seen from the averments in the counter-affidavit, it is evident that both petitioners were not discharging their duties as Village Organisation Assistants as on the date of the order in W.P.No.21335 of 2024. Hence, this Court does not find any violation of the order. 8. Accordingly, the contempt case is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
