In compliance of order dated 13.08.2025, an affidavit is filed on behalf of Rajasthan Police to show that an amended and modified draft arrest memo has been issued to all police stations so as to ensure that in future, as and when any person is arrested for commission of any crime then the reasons of arrest shall be intimated to him and shall also be part of the record. He further submits that a format to intimate arrest of an individual is also modified and same is also placed on record and in future, [2025:RJ-JP:44148] (2 of 2) [CRLMA-556/2025] Rajasthan Police will use same format to intimate close relative of the person, who is arrested by the Investigating Officer. 2. Learned AAG also ensures that in case, when no close relative is found then police will intimate concerned District Legal Service Authority or Taluqa Service Authority about arrest of an individual so that a legal aid counsel be provided to the person, who is not having any close relative to look after his case.
